'Mabellis' British Shorthairs

Kittens - 1st June 2002

The kittens have now all at least doubled their birth weights, and have their eyes open.  They are showing signs of trying to escape from their box, and some have apparently changed sex as their cream markings and so on have become more obvious!  Muffin continues to be a most proud and contented mother, though she leaves them to use the litter tray downstairs.  Abe is very curious about the box behind the sofa, and will doubtless have a great deal of fun with them once they are running around.

Muffin is getting more relaxed about leaving the kittens along for short periods of time, so I was able to take this photo of them without her.

The kittens are starting to become aware of outside world and one of them here looks like she wants to try climbing out of their box.
The sire is Welqust Mistatipkins, known as Jasper to his friends.  (Photo Pedigree).  There are two blue boys and four blue-cream girls.
